　　Found in 2007, Shanghai Greatway Marine & Offshore Engineering Corporation Ltd (Greatway). is a ship & offshore engineering design & consultant company.

 

 

　　Today, we strive to be one of the most efficient providers of marine and offshore design & consultant services, including the conceptual development & design, feasibility studies, Class submission design, detail design and production design.  We are achieving that goal through the innovative thinking, enthusiasm and professionalism of our staff.

 

 

　　Greatway has already successfully developed and completed different kind of projects including New building ship design & development, Conversion ship design, Ship structural optimization design & development and Ship structural FEM analysis, etc.

 

 

　　Greatway has good capability to develop & design different type of vessels such as Bulk Carrier, Multi Purpose Vessel, Product/Chemical Tankers, Containership and Tugs etc.

 

 

　　Greatway has also excellent capability to carry out ship conversion design: Oil Tanker converted to Bulk Carrier; Single Bottom Tanker converted to Double Bottom Tanker; Self Loading Vessel Conversion; VLOC converted to Floating Transfer Station (FTS, Brazil Vale Project of Ore-S Conversion); Ship Lengthening Conversion; Bulk Carrier converted to Cement Carrier etc.

 

 

　　Besides in 2012, Greatway completed conversion design project of first livestock carrier (NADA which fully complied with AMSA requirement) conversion work from a 2200 TEU containership, recently, the first new livestock carrier (YANGTZE HARMONY, converted from 667 TEU containership) of the first Chinese owner, has been designed by Greatway and delivered to Owner successfully. 

 

 

　　Greatway has good capability to carry out ship structural optimization design (CSR BC，CSR Tanker and H CSR Vessel) and completed cargo hold FEM analysis for Bulk Carrier, Tankers/Chemical Tankers and LPG etc.
